Welcome to HREFLang, an online service that checks websites for broken and malicious links. Please read these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Terms") carefully because they are a legal agreement between you and HREFLang (represented by Andreas Wulf) governing the use of the HREFLang service and website (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service in your role within an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of that organization. You may use the Service only if you are 18 years or older. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, do not use the Service.

When creating an account for the Service, you must provide accurate and complete information about yourself and keep this information up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and agree not to disclose it to any third party. You may not sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your rights to the Service.

You agree to use the Service only for its intended uses and not in any illegal or abusive manner. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account or any security breach, you must immediately notify HREFLang.

Additional features may be made available to you as a paid upgrade (“Paid Plan”). If you choose to subscribe to a Paid Plan, you must provide HREFLang or a payment processor authorized by HREFLang with accurate and complete billing information and constantly keep this information up to date.

The subscription for a Paid Plan is billed in advance on a monthly basis and is nonrefundable. When upgrading to a more expensive plan, you will be billed immediately for the price difference, and the charge will be prorated based on the days remaining in your current term. A downgrade to a less expensive plan will take effect at the end of your current term. Downgrading may result in the loss of features or capacity of your subscription.

Unless otherwise stated, all fees are exclusive of all taxes. You are responsible for payment of any applicable taxes.

Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically without notice from HREFLang if you fail to comply with the Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service immediately.

You may cancel your subscription for a Paid Plan at any time by accessing the “Account” page, opening the “Subscription Settings” dialog, and clicking on the “Cancel Subscription” button. Alternatively, you can request cancellation via email or the contact form. If you cancel your subscription, your access to the Service will continue until the end of the period for which you have already paid.

HREFLang has the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time and for any reason.

HREFLang may, at its sole discretion, provide you with technical support related to the Service. All technical support is provided via email in English or German only. HREFLang strives to respond to support requests within 24 hours.

HREFLang reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Service or any part thereof at any time without notice.

If HREFLang decides to change the price of your active subscription, you will be given at least one month’s advance notice by email.

HREFLang reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time without prior notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service shall be subject to these Terms. You are responsible for checking these Terms periodically for changes.

The Service is provided as is, including any faults. HREFLang makes no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements, operate under your specific conditions of use, or be available without interruption at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither HREFLang nor its authorized representatives will be liable for any damages related to the Service or these Terms. In no event will the aggregate liability related to the Service or these Terms exceed the total subscription fees actually paid by you in the previous twelve months of your use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be void, invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, the other provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
